Meek Mill fans will be happy to know the rapper is free after doing 5 months in jail.
He released this statement;
“I’d like to thank God, my family, my friends, my attorneys, my team at Roc Nation including JAY-Z, Desiree Perez, my good friend Michael Rubin, my fans, The Pennsylvania Supreme Court and all my public advocates for their love, support and encouragement during this difficult time.”
“While the past five months have been a nightmare, the prayers, visits, calls, letters and rallies have helped me stay positive. To the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office, I’m grateful for your commitment to justice — not only for my case, but for others that have been wrongfully jailed due to police misconduct.”
Meek Mill saw great support from very powerful people in the industry. He had politicians, moguls and even members of the justice system on his side.
The Real question now is will he stay out of jail this time? he has been given a lot of chances and if they arrest him again it is hard to imagine how will get the same level of support.
With that said, now that he is free, rap fans can look forward to more music from the Philly rap star.
Meek Mill is free but he must understand that he is under constant surveillance. He cannot end up like Kodak Black and become a full-time jailbird. Kodak has been behind bars so much that we are surprised when he is free.
The people around Meek Mill need to start showing him real love. That means when he is about to do something that might get himself in trouble, they stop him or at least try to.
What brings down rappers is the team of yes men they normally have around them.
